- What is Page title Optimization?
- Why Page title Optimization is Important?
Let’s get started. The very first component of your content page is the <title> tag. You can usually find it in your <head> section of your blog/website. And the process you can use to make that page title make search engine friendly is called “Page Title Optimization”. The following four reasons makes page title optimization the most important part of your on page optimization process.
Algorithmic Weight:
Title tag is the single summery for any particular content page thus carries the highest on page weighting in all search engine algorithms.
SERP results:
When a search engines shows search engine results page (SERPs) for a search query, the page title will be a link to each search results. And having a “call for action” for users will bring you that traffic that you want.
Browser Header:
All the internet browsers display the title tag in the top navigation bar of the browser window. Lately then trend is using the browser tabs, where pages title tags indicated what web site/page the user is on. These reasons also make a page title optimization a great navigation aid for users.
Link Submissions:
I bet you tried or at least were tempted to try that 4000-directory submission for $4.99 or so. If you have used that service or any other link submission service, its fine, but to maximize the benefit from that service, you need to have a page title that is attractive and catchy enough for users to click.
